The Buffalo Bills opened their preseason at Highmark Stadium with a loss to the New York Giants. But in the preseason, wins and losses are barely the focus. Now, attention turns to Week 2 against the Chicago Bears.

Starters sat out in Week 1, and the same is likely this week—but intrigue remains high as players battle for roster spots. Here’s your complete guide to watching and following all the action.

Who’s Calling the Bills vs. Bears Week 2 Preseason Game?

Joe Davis will lead the Fox Sports broadcast for the Bills vs. Bears preseason matchup, handling the play-by-play duties. He’ll be joined by Greg Olsen, a former NFL tight end and three-time Pro Bowler who spent 14 seasons in the league.

Olsen was selected 31st overall by the Bears in the 2007 NFL Draft and played four seasons in Chicago, finishing with 194 receptions for 1,981 yards and 20 touchdowns in 62 games. Pam Oliver will provide sideline reports and updates throughout the game. With Bears stars like Caleb Williams expected to play under new head coach Ben Johnson, fans will have plenty to watch.

For radio listeners, ESPN 1000 will broadcast the game with longtime Bears announcer Jeff Joniak on play-by-play. Joniak has been calling Bears games since 1997 and also serves as Director of Sports Operations for WBBM Newsradio 780 and 105.9 FM.

He’ll be joined in the booth by Tom Thayer, a former Bears offensive lineman and nine-year veteran who played over 120 games, including a key role in the team’s Super Bowl XX victory. Thayer has been part of the Bears’ radio broadcast team since 2005.

Whether watching on TV or listening on the radio, fans can expect seasoned commentary, in-depth analysis, and real-time insights from broadcasters intimately familiar with their respective franchises.
