Harrison Phillips Wife
The 6-foot-3-inch New York Jets defensive tackle Phillips married his long-time sweetheart, Shae Spady Phillips, on July 8, 2023. Shae is a certified personal trainer and also works at The Players Club Golf and Country Club.
Shae was born on November 28, 1996, in Omaha, Nebraska, just like Phillips. Their love story goes back to their high school days. Phillips’ Instagram has documented their journey over the years — from high school prom, to the proposal, to welcoming a child, and finally, to their wedding.
Like Phillips, Shae attended Millard West High School in Omaha before earning her B.S. in Kinesiology/Exercise Science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, while Phillips went on to play football at Stanford.
Phillips proposed to Shae on May 1, 2022, and just over a year later, the couple tied the knot. They later announced their pregnancy on December 3, 2024, posting a heartwarming Instagram photo holding the sonogram with the caption: “Baby boy coming spring 2025 🤍🙏.”
Their son, Roman John Phillips, was born on May 12, 2025. This past April, the couple celebrated a belated honeymoon, flying with Delta Airlines for a two-week trip across Europe. Their travels included sightseeing, a stop in Germany to meet devoted Vikings fans, and a romantic visit to Lake Como, Italy.
Harrison Phillips’ College Career
Phillips played college football at Stanford from 2014 to 2017. His sophomore season in 2015 was cut short after just one game due to a torn ACL, leading him to take a medical redshirt.
He bounced back in a big way. In 2017, he dominated on the defensive line, leading all FBS linemen with 103 tackles while earning First-Team All-Pac-12 honors both athletically and academically. His standout season also earned him an invitation to the 2018 Senior Bowl.
Off the field, Phillips graduated in December 2017 with a double major in Sociology and Science, Technology and Society, along with a minor in Education. Soon after, he announced he would forgo his final year of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.
The Buffalo Bills selected Phillips in the third round (96th overall), making him the tenth defensive tackle drafted that year.
