Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox has achieved much in his NFL career and is known for his reliable performance as a tight end. However, what about his personal accomplishments?
Well, off the field, his personal life is just as inspiring, thanks to his marriage to Alex Seefeldt, a talented personal trainer and martial arts instructor.
A Love Story That Started with a DM
Knox and Seefeldt’s romance feels like something out of a modern fairy tale. The couple’s first dating rumors circulated in March 2023, and by June of that year, Seefeldt shared an Instagram post that hinted at their budding relationship.
The post featured a series of photos from the CMA Fest in Nashville, and a few of them included a sweet shot of the couple holding hands. While Dawson’s face wasn’t fully revealed, Seefeldt tagged him, and he left a playful comment, “Lil farty 🥰.”
In a January 2025 episode of the YouTube channel Whistle, Seefeldt shared how their love story began.
She shared with a laugh,
“We had mutual friends, and I followed you [Dawson] on Instagram, and you DM’d and asked me on a date. I was playing a little hard to get, definitely a little cold at first, but you were super sweet. After our first date, that was it.”

Less than a year later, in November 2023, Dawson proposed, and soon after, the couple tied the knot on June 30, 2024, in a beautiful ceremony they described as “the best day of our lives.” Just a year later, in July 2024, Dawson and Seefeldt shared even bigger news: they’re expecting their first child, a daughter. Their gender reveal video, shared full of joy and excitement, melted fans’ hearts.

Dawson and Alex are Each Other’s Biggest Cheerleaders
In January 2025, Alex took to social media to lift her husband’s spirits after the Bills’ heartbreaking 32-29 loss to the Chiefs in the 2024 AFC title game.

It was a comforting reminder of their bond, showing the world what Knox’s wife brings to their partnership. Moreover, fans got an even closer look at their chemistry in January 2025, when the couple appeared on Whistle’s “Home Team” series. The episode tested their marriage with fun games and challenges, and was a hit.
