Union Redskins - Two Time Defending Oklahoma 6A Football Champions

Redskins Down Evangel

Tulsa World - When Class 6A No. 1 Union needed it most, the Redskins offensive line and tailback Kendall Holmes took over against Louisiana Class 2A No. 1 Evangel Christian.  With the high-octane Eagles rallying midway through the fourth quarter, Holmes carried seven consecutive times, chewing up the clock and picking up four key first downs. Union quarterback Kale Pearson then found Stephon Weaver for a 44-yard touchdown pass, clinching a 44-32 road victory on Friday night at Rodney Duron Field in Shreveport, LA.  (Shreveport Times Article).

What it is: For the third year in a row, the American Red Cross has partnered with Jenks and Union to try to collect as many blood donations as possible throughout the summer, one of the most difficult times for blood donations. Instead of traditional competition, Jenks and Union are teaming up and fighting for the same cause. Coaches, parents, friends, family, and students (over the age of 17) to donate blood between June 30-September 3, at your convenience.

Even if you can not donate blood, wear your Union gear and come show your support at the June 30th kick-off.

Booster Club Partnering with Foxwood Sports

Foxwood Sports of Fayetteville, AR and Union High Football Booster Club President, Patrick Coyle has partnered to provide the high school and community with sports schedule posters and pocket schedule cards.

We want the merchants and sponsors in Tulsa to be aware of this partnership because there are companies out there that will contact local merchants to sell them space on a poster or product that the school has not authorized and does not recieve any revenue from. Foxwood Sports is the ONLY company authorized by Union High Football Booster Club to offer area merchants the opportunity to promote their business on the posters and schedule cards all while providing help to the athletic department
